We do not own this data; we are a service that makes it accessible in a clear, searchable format. We are committed to providing accurate information sourced from official government records.
You retain ownership of any notes, saved bills, or other content you create within LegisHawk ("Your Content"). By uploading or creating content, you grant LegisHawk a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use Your Content to provide and improve our Services.
LegisHawk provides AI-generated bill summaries to help explain complex legislation. These summaries are clearly labeled and should not be considered official statements or substitutes for reading the full bill text. Always verify important information through official legislative sources. LegisHawk is not responsible for inaccuracies in AI summaries.
LegisHawk is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees regarding:

LegisHawk is a private, independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Iowa Legislature, Iowa state government, or any government agency. LegisHawk is a civic technology tool built by and for Iowa citizens.
LegisHawk may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Effective Date" above. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
